Duration: The tour starts at 9 am from Greve in Chianti and ends around 3:30 pm, always in Greve in Chianti
Itinerary: Starting at Greve in Chianti, you will cycle uphill to Montefioralle where you’ll admire the picturesque valley view. Then it’s on to Badia a Passignano – the historic Benedictine abbey built in 890 AD. This magnificent Abbey is a must-see for art lovers. Explore the council chamber, cloister, canteen, and kitchen of the convent, and witness the incredible fresco of the Last Supper by famous Italian Renaissance artist Domenico Ghirlandaio in 1476. And don’t forget to take a stroll in the gorgeous Italian garden too! The tour is at a leisurely pace (it’s not a race); we often stop to admire the view, take pictures and eat a snack.
